  • Type ‘%localappdata% ‘and hit ‘OK’.
  • Double-click ‘Discord’.
  • Double click ‘Update.exe’. The software starts updating.

  • Disabling the Antivirus Temporarily

Try disabling the antivirus program of the PC Temporarily and relaunch the software to see whether the problem is solved or not. If the audio problem is solved after disabling the antivirus software, consult the operator of your antivirus software to find a fix or go for different antivirus software.

  • Reinstall Discord

  • Go to the installation location of Discord.
  • Right-click on the ‘Discord.exe’ application. 
  • Select ‘Run as Administrator’.
  • Click ‘OK’ to finalize the change.
